Bio
Born, raised and educated in Germany. From my early childhood, I was into doing and making things, so getting into design happened naturally. From the early days on in my professional career, I decided that I wanted to be able to work across disciplines and throughout the entire design process.
During my studies, I completed a few internships at various European design agencies. I had the great opportunity to collaborate as a designer with Airbus for my thesis. One week after my thesis presentation, I started my first full-time job as an Industrial Designer at Studio Syneo in Milan, and this was the beginning of a long and never-ending journey. After a while, I joined LG Electronics Design in Milan and was one of the founding members of the LG Design Studio in London. Working for LG also gave me the opportunity to work longer periods of time in South Korea, which was an experience I cherish.
In 2010, I joined Smart Design in New York City. I was working with the most talented people on a wide range of amazing multi-disciplinary projects with a focus on a strategic and human-centric design approach: "Design is not about objects, it's about people". I also had the opportunity to work out of Smart Design's studios in San Francisco and Barcelona for extended periods of time on global projects.
I joined the Manhattan-based PepsiCo Global Design team in 2013. Currently, I am working on developing a consistent PepsiCo global design strategy and equipment portfolio.
